I’m Fresco — a barber and designer out of Method Barbershop, downtown. Skin fades, hard parts, and freehand designs cut by hand. Bring me a reference or just an idea, and I’ll draw it into your cut.
Seen a design you want — or got one in your head? Show me. I’ll tell you how it’ll sit, then freehand it into your fade. No stencils, no “close enough.”
Book the chairI’m Fresco — I came up doing freehand designs and never stopped. To me a head of hair is a canvas: a hard part with a clean shadow, a pattern shaved by eye, a fade that turns into a design at the temple. I cut out of Method Barbershop, downtown. Tell me what you’re picturing — the bolder the better — and I’ll make it unmistakably yours.
A clean design isn’t a sticker. It’s drawn freehand, in the chair, around the way your hair actually grows — which is why it fits you and grows out clean.
We start with your photo or the idea in your head, then I map it to your hairline, your part, and the canvas you’ve actually got — so it sits on your head, not a template.
No stencils. Every line is cut by eye with the corner of the trimmer, the way a tattoo is drawn — which is why no two ever come out identical.
Depth comes from fading the edges of the design down into the skin, so a flat pattern reads as carved — not drawn on.
Lines are cut to soften evenly, so week two still looks intentional — never like something half-erased.
