Old-school cuts · Harbor Bay

No trends.
Just a good cut.

I’m Driftwood — I cut the way my mentor taught me, out of Harbor Barbershop in Harbor Bay. Classic cuts, beard work, and a straight-razor neck shave, done slow and done right. No app maze, no upsell — just a barber who gets it right and remembers your name.

First time? I’ve got you.

Not sure what to ask for? Tell me about your last good haircut — or your worst — and I’ll take it from there. A good cut shouldn’t be complicated, and you shouldn’t have to be a hair expert to get one.

The barber

Just me. One chair. No fuss.

I’m Driftwood — fourteen years behind the chair, out of Harbor Barbershop. I learned from an old-timer who did three things perfectly and never chased a trend, and that’s how I cut: a clean classic, a proper beard, a straight-razor finish. I’d rather do a handful of things right than a hundred things okay. Sit down, take a breath — this is the slow chair.

The way I work

A few things, done right

I don’t do every trend that comes through the door. I do the classics — and I do them better because that’s all I do.

01

The classics, actually classic

A side part, a crop, a clean taper — cut the traditional way, with the scissors doing the work, not a guard and a prayer. The cuts that looked good on your grandfather and still do.

02

The straight-razor finish

Every cut ends with a hot towel and a straight razor on the neck and edges. It’s the detail that makes a fresh cut feel fresh — and almost nobody takes the time anymore.

03

Cut to last

I cut for how it’ll look in three weeks, not just today. A good classic grows out gracefully — you’re not chained to the chair.

04

No rush, no upsell

One chair, one person at a time. I’m not turning the seat or talking you into product you don’t need. You get a good cut and a few minutes that aren’t about your phone.
